A Westmoreland dance ended in agony for two selectors who were beaten by men aligned to the notorious Nineties gang. One of the selectors who was injured was Alliance selector Foota Hype who early reports say was beaten to the point where one of his hands was broken in two places.Another selector, Fluggo from Travellers, was also beaten brutally by a group of over 20 men to the point where he had to be admitted to the hospital.
"De man dem say Mavado was supposed to go to the dance and him never go, dem claim say a Foota cause it, but Fluggo from Travellers get it wicked, the argument is that him violate wid the flyers inna some way and dem beat him too, all chop wid lass him get," one source told reggaemusicfm.
Three years ago, selector Hottaball was beaten by men from the Nineties as well who felt that he had dissed the Alliance, and was aligned to Beenie Man.
When contacted, selector Foota Hype would neither confirm or deny that the incident had happened only to say that he "was stressed out about the whole thing but call me tomorrow".
