Assassin's 'Girls Gone Wild' brings out the stars

One876Entertainmet.com understands that the first staging of Jamaican dancehall artiste Assassin’s new event called “Girls Gone Wild Tuesdays” staged last Tuesday, (May 6) at the popular party spot, Weekendz was a success.

With sponsors Sobe Adrenaline Rush on board, the 600 patrons in the venue got down with the early jugglings of the Coppershot Disco and partied with the tantalizing mixes from DJ Christuff and Dr Dre of Renaissance Disco, later in the night.

The event saw familiar faces of the dancehall as popular entertainers gave their support and endorsed the event: Sean Paul, Bounti Killa, Daseca, Serani, Bugle, Voicemail, Ward 21 and Nittie Kutchie. Dancers - Shelly Belly, Keva, and Chi Ching Ching – also attended and added their flavour to the event.

“Bigger and better things are to come,” commented a satisfied Assassin, and the ladies who attended the event got a taste of what is to come. “Supahype and Narity from Bloodline hosted an impromptu dance competition and the winners were awarded US$100 and JA$6000 as well as products from Adrenaline Rush,” he said.

“Come out early as we kick things off at 9pm and we want to finish on time to avoid any problems with the law and we want everyone to enjoy great music and vibes every week,” Assassin also said. “This event is definitely something that should not be missed. It is on its way to becoming one of Kingston’s premiere events”.

Assassin has been attacking the airwaves with his lyrical dexterity and recently added his touch to the remix to Usher’s popular single, Love In This Club.
