Macka getting married?

Tongues have been wagging that Macka Diamond is getting married, but the 'money goddess' says she has no immediate plans for such a move.


Last November in an interview with outaroad.com, Macka Diamond, real name Charmaine Munroe, said she had plans of getting married earlier this year to an old friend from Jamaica who she reunited with on a visit to Britain.


In the November interview she said, "I was scared to say yes because it was a surprise since we both know each other from long time and none of us have ever expressed feeling towards each other and now we are getting married.



However, when questioned about the report Macka Diamond said, "From dem long time deh, so why people a bring it up back? Dem jus a trouble mi cause dem nuh know mi business."


Adding, "Mi nuh love talk bout mi personal life inna di media."


Macka Diamond did not deny an engagement but said she has no intentions of hosting a wedding in the near future.


"A me a hold it back cause me a gwaan set di ting good," Macka Diamond told THE STAR. "Is a big step. As an artiste when you have fans, if you get committed you might lose some a dem or nuh have enough time fi di music."


In the meantime, she is preparing for shows in Los Angeles and France. Also, she is making preparations for her Birthday Bash which will be held in January.


"A dem ting deh mi a prepare fa so wedding caan come now yah," she told THE STAR.


She also mentioned a new project that she plans tostart, but was not yet ready to disclose too much information. She, however, promised that it would shock the public.


Recently, Macka Diamond collaborated with Lady G on a new track called Run and shot the video for her Robbery. Her weekly dance, Money-O Sundays in Old Harbour is also doing well.
